By understanding and sharing the lessons learned, we aimed to foster greater recognition, support, and collaboration with local community organizations in addressing health challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
We designed an evidence-based model to prevent gender violence

We took the challenge to imagine an nation-wide intervention model for the prevention of violence against women.
Our team collected inspiration from Arequipa, Chachapoyas, Cusco, Huancayo, Lima, Piura, Tarapoto and Trujillo, by conducting +190 household surveys, 10 focus groups with women’s grassroots organizations and NGOs, and 50 interviews with civil servants and media agents.

We designed and analyzed a KAP Survey (Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices) applied to 250+ families, a customized survey for +110 health professionals working in local health, and semistructured interviews for 10+ community stakeholders.

During the pandemic, we assembled a two-person team to dig deep into the experience of bright students going throught the college experience.
As a result, we uncovered opportunities to shift from emergency remote teaching to digital-first learning experiences, and we prioritized the one that allows to shape a post-pandemic college education.
